Verwey Museum Haarlem

I really like the Haarlem history section of the Verway museum which is most of the upstairs. It does a really good job of explaining the origins of Haarlem and then the key events in the history of the city.

We had an excellent experience here with our limited time (stayed longer in the Frans Hals museum). The staff were so kind and helpful and directed us on what could be seen thoroughly in less than 1 hour. We chose the history of Haarlem section and it was beautifully curated…
