“Update: went back on a Tuesday. Much better experience because less crowded and full attention of the crew. Doscovered the artichoke with tasty mayo dip and the daily special tuna in sesame seed. Great to see the oyster trio still on the menu. The White Rioja was excellent! Great food, service was too stretched. Saturday night was packed, we had a nice round table in the back of the room. Started with an original oyster tasting in various preparations and the delicious shrimp cocktails with truffle mayonnaise. Main we had boeuf bourguignon (rare to be able to order this for 1!) and rib-eye and some sides Lava cake (moulleux chocolat) for dessert was perfectly heated. Lovely glass of Bordeaux to accompany the main dish. Very friendly service. There are some small things that could have been better. Next to our table there are 2 high top seats at the window facing outside that are just too close, you have to do your best not to notice them and ignore the conversation. The staff could have used an extra person, took too long to bring the menu (why not share this right after placing the guest?). Beware the rib-eye already comes with sourcraut and mash, no need to order sides if you have an average appetite. Overall a very lively atmosphere and a great kitchen!”
