“From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with a refreshing yet warm hearted cocktail! Cat and Derek’s energy made us feel like old friends right away. The beautifully restored building is filled with rustic, authentic charm and creative art pieces. The guest star of the evening was their dog, Truffle, who was excellent at adding to the homely atmosphere. The four-course menu was outstanding with complex flavors, perfect portions, and spot-on balance of textures. Wine pairings were excellent, and the pacing was just right, never rushed, never waiting too long. We didn’t take photos because it felt like an intimate experience to savor in the moment. Very impressed and already excited to return. Haarlem’s culinary scene, watch out!”
